Where did these music rankings come from?
The list of top ten music schools is a JOKE. The quality of a music college, university, or conservatory is not based on the quality of the liberal arts program at the school and the ability to take some kind of cool classes about music. As a "music" major myself (my actual degree is in vocal performance with an opera emphasis) I cared SO LITTLE about the liberal arts offered at my school. The main focus of a music major is studying... MUSIC. The quality of these schools is based on the offerings within the music classes, the faculty, and the quality of ensembles. I also see that you avoided putting conservatories on your list which I absolutely don't agree with. There is so much more conservatories like NEC, Curtis, Juilliard, Peabody and Oberlin can offer for serious music students. I don't care about your defense of how you use different statistical parameters to discover your rankings because a music degree is about quality, not numbers.
