How can we improve College Factual? What additional features would you like to see?

  1. Student Athlete request

    Help college athletes by giving an analysis of the ranking and success of the college sport team of your choosing. Ex, the highest finish/ tournament win, average wins per player, the biggest college rival, previous years' success.

    As another feature, you could also analyze the roster, and for example it has a team has many juniors, if you plan to go to university in 2 years, then it can tell you if the team has many openings for your admission year. Of course its not perfect due to transfers and so on, but it would be handy.

  2. When will beta tools be ready to use?

    There are plenty potential tools that aren't ready to be used but would be handy to incorporate in the college search. So by getting those running it will really set the site apart from other search engines.

  4. Add fit percentages to saved school view or allow to order by total fit

    Hello,

    As I worked through this more, I see there is a menu available top right of the table and it lets me choose Order By Total Fit. I would like the same view for the colleges we choose.

  12. A personalized college search.

    The current college seach featured would be a lot more useful if we could factor in preferences. Such as school size, location(s), majors, and so forth. These aspects combined with our acedmic strenghts and preferences would create the ultimate college search.

  13. Add distance learning focused section for online-only students

    Offer a more in depth look at distance based colleges. Many potential students are only able to utilize a distance/online approach due to life circumstances. Would be a definite boon to the site if this were the place to go to help weed out the good from the bad, for-profit from non-profit, etc.

  14. Reach Match, Safety School Tools to Prioritize Colleges

    Personal categorization of saved colleges by reach, primary, safety schools. Help me do this by asking more questions on grades and sat/act and compare to selectivity. Then compare school metrics, like cost, size, etc.

  16. the most important reason

    just ideas that pertain to the subject that you may be interested in. Personally i do not see anything of importance in questions like catholics needing special needs. you either want to be in the field you are looking for or you dont, and if you say you want that be 100% sure.

  18. Correct information

    I think it would be a great idea if you corrected the name of Metropolitan State University of Denver. You currently call it "college," a name that was left behind in 2012 as reflection natural growth of the institution. See msudenver.edu for verification. I believe your website could be improved by using accurate information.
